The short version: Rosary Lock is a subscription app. Your subscription is billed and managed through Apple. You can cancel at any time from your iPhone settings. These terms govern your use of the app — please read them before subscribing.
By downloading, installing, or using Rosary Lock (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of Rosary Lock ("we," "us," or "our"). Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's App Store Terms of Service, which take precedence where they conflict with these Terms.
Rosary Lock is a Catholic prayer app that guides you through the Holy Rosary with an interactive bead-by-bead experience. The App includes an optional app-shielding feature that uses iOS Screen Time controls to encourage daily prayer.
The App is available in two tiers:
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will not remove core functionality from a paid subscription without notice.
Rosary Lock Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription processed entirely through Apple's App Store. The current plans are:
All billing is handled by Apple. We never see your payment method, credit card number, or billing address. Charges appear on your Apple ID account. Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing matrix.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple will charge your payment method on file within 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period and will take effect at your next renewal. You will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.
New subscribers to the annual plan receive a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to all Rosary Lock Premium features.
Eligibility for a free trial is determined by Apple and may not be available in all cases.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then.
How to cancel:
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We are unable to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Apple's refund policy applies.
Unused portions of a subscription period are not refunded when you cancel mid-cycle. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through Apple as described above.
Rosary Lock Premium includes an app-shielding feature powered by Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. When enabled, Rosary Lock intercepts launches of apps you have chosen to shield and presents the Rosary screen before allowing access.
We make no guarantee that the app-shielding feature will function on all device configurations, iOS versions, or after future iOS updates. Apple controls the Screen Time API. Changes to iOS may affect this feature without notice.

Rosary Lock's prayers, mystery texts, and guided content are drawn from traditional Catholic sources. We make no claim that any particular usage constitutes valid liturgical practice.
All original content in Rosary Lock — including the app design, user interface, animations, haptic patterns, and software code — is the property of the Rosary Lock developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Traditional Catholic prayers (the Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory Be, etc.) are in the public domain. Mystery meditations and guided text written specifically for Rosary Lock are our original work.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.
Rosary Lock is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Rosary Lock is a spiritual aid, not a substitute for sacramental practice, pastoral guidance, or the teachings of the Catholic Church.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rosary Lock and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of access to shielded apps, or loss of streak progress.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If we make changes that significantly affect your subscription or rights, we will provide additional notice through the App or by email where we have your address.
