The short version: Rosary Lock collects only what it needs to work. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Your prayer activity stays on your device. This page explains everything in plain language.
Rosary Lock is a Catholic Rosary habit app for iOS. It is developed and operated as an independent app. When we say "Rosary Lock," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean the Rosary Lock app and its developer.

We collect as little as possible. Here is everything Rosary Lock collects, and why:
Waitlist email address
Prayer progress data (stored on your device)
This data stays on your device. Rosary Lock stores your prayer progress locally using iOS device storage. It is not transmitted to our servers. We cannot see it. It is yours.
Purchase information (premium subscribers)
Basic analytics (anonymous)
We use the information we collect for one purpose: to make Rosary Lock work well for you.
We will never use your data to serve you advertisements.
We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
We do not share your data with advertisers.
We do not build advertising profiles.
We do not track your activity across other apps or
websites.
Rosary Lock is a prayer app. Treating your data with respect is part of what that means.
Rosary Lock uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) to intercept shielded apps and bring you to your prayer screen before they open. Here is what that means for your privacy:
Notifications
Your prayer data is stored locally on your iOS device using AsyncStorage. It does not leave your device. It is not backed up to our servers.
Your waitlist email is stored with Formspree, a third-party form service that operates under its own privacy policy. We use Formspree solely to collect waitlist submissions before our backend is in place.
Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, a widely-used in-app purchase management platform. RevenueCat operates under its own privacy policy. We receive only your subscription status — not your payment details.
We take reasonable precautions to protect the data we do hold. However, no system is perfectly secure. If you have concerns, please contact us.

Since most of your data lives on your own device, you can also delete it at any time by deleting the Rosary Lock app from your iPhone.
Rosary Lock is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Users aged 13–17 should have parental consent before using Rosary Lock or providing their email address.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Rosary Lock grows and as we add new features. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If you are on our waitlist, we may email you about significant privacy changes. We will always give you the option to opt out of Rosary Lock entirely.
